In a battle between last season's champions and runners-up, AmaZulu emerged victorious when they hosted Mamelodi Sundowns at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium in Durban on Monday evening.
"It was important for everyone to have contributed to today’s win," he said."It’s not an individual sport and we always count on every player. Once you get the opportunity to play, we expect you to do your best and give more for the team at all costs. "[Peter] Shalulile was very restricted. He was the shadow of the player that we all know he is because my defenders were on song today. Everyone fought, everyone was present, and it showed.
