, are jaded in a way. They kind of have a performance going on, and you’re very cognizant of other people's performances. I think that’s mostly what your art is about.You verbalized that so well. I see all of these paintings as film stills more than anything, truly. Making things that feel performative is fun for me because it allows me to be campy with the imagery, and existing in a campy space is where I’m most comfortable.
