So it looks like news from Team Smith will be coming out hot and heavy leading up to when the politicians begin smacking each other around in the legislature just before the end of this month.They are seriously considering getting Smith to speak directly to Albertans and deliver a state-of-the-province address this month, taking a page out of the playbook of former premier Ralph Klein.
They still feel the premier has quite a bit of support. They know they’re behind but believe they are within striking distance of the NDP.
