John White has supported the Red Devils since he was a young boy growing up on the streets of the Short Strand
in the east of the city.
"However, I spent more time on researching the entries for this book than I did for any of the others. Indeed, the bibliography section runs to four pages. I found myself reading United Reviews from the 1930s to date, looking through minutes of neetings of the Manchester United Board of Directors and scrawling through Hansard Papers for information on discussions in the House of Commons post the fateful 1958 Munich Air Disaster.
John is the founder of Carryduff Manchester United Supporters Club, which was recently named as the second biggest MUFC fans' club in the world.John's latest book contains numerous articles which many Manchester United fans may previously have been unaware of.
