Great times for lead pack at today's Mash Direct event
In first place Eskander Turki crossed the line at 1:09:10 while North Belfast Harrier Conon McCaughey was tight in behind at just 1:09:12. In third place was Gary Slevin at 1:10:52 followed by Gavin Corey and Scott Rankin.
Annadale’s Eskander Turki was runner up in last year’s NI Cross Country while McCaughey ran the race of his life in last month’s Antrim Coast Half Marathon where Kenya’s Daniel Mateiko ran the fastest marathon in the world this year. 33-year old Conan produced a huge PB of 66 minutes 54 seconds.
