A Belfast bar is set to get a new lease of life after being purchased by the owners of a popular North Belfast business.

Taking to social media on Wednesday, Ben Madigan's Bar and Kitchen on the Cavehill Road confirmed they are set to take over as the new owners.Ben Madigan's, previously The Cavehill Inn, opened in North Belfast in 2019 by owner Kelvin Collins. On acquiring McKenna's, they said: "We’re delighted to confirm that the Ben Madigan’s family is expanding. We are the new owners of McKenna’s bar in the historic Sailortown area of Belfast.
