Cedric Marsden John Marsden, of Ward Avenue, Oswaldtwistle, a loving husband and cherished dad, passed away on Thursday, September 15, in White Ash Brook Care Home, aged 85. His funeral will take place at 10am on Tuesday, September 27 at All Saints Church, Clayton-le-Moors, prior to interment at Dill Hall Cemetery. Family flowers only please, but donations are welcomed in memory of Cedric for the Alzheimer’s Society c/o funeral director Barton & Hallworth Funeral Service, Oswaldtwistle.
He also loved listening and dancing to Rock ‘n’ Roll music. A dearly loved father of Catherine, Martin, David and Steven, Richard was also a good friend to many and will be very sadly missed by all those who knew him. Family flowers only please; donations in memory of Paul are being gratefully received on behalf of the British Heart Foundation c/o champfunerals.com/obituaries. All enquiries to funeral director Champ Funeral Services, Bank House, Whalley Road, Clayton-le-Moors.He met his one true love and soulmate June, whilst working at Duckworth Hall Mill, Oswaldtwistle. Later they married and in 1965 their only child Mark was born. Ken had various jobs during his working life.
Service and cremation will be held at Accrington Crematorium on Monday, September 26 at 9.40am. Funeral director: Oswaldtwistle Funeral Services.
