Miron, a 20-year-old centre from Dartmouth, scored 11 seconds into the third period March 22 at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro to break a 1-1 tie. Andyn Furmidge added an empty-net goal as the Bearcats won Game 3 of their best-of-seven series 3-1 before 1,040 fans.Lucas Canning opened the scoring 15 minutes into the game for Truro. Cole Foston tied it four minutes later on the power play.
WIN! What an effort as Landon Miron nets the game winner 11 seconds into the 3rd and Furmidge adds an empty netter to give us a 3-1 win and a 2-1 series lead! Connor Martin got the 19 save win in net. Final shots were 45-20 us. Back to Berwick for game 4 on Friday!
