BBC One has seen a major schedule shake-up after BBC Breakfast was pulled off air on Thursday morning.However, on Thursday viewers were informed the programme had been axed from the main channel and instead fans had to turn to BBC Two.
The shake-up is due to the broadcaster making room in the schedule for the Fifa Women's World Cup 2023. In another change for fans, Charlie Stayt was missing from the well-known red sofa and Naga Muncetty was back presenting with Ben Thompson. Top TV news Ben posted a selfie with Naga on his official Twitter account as he told followers about the channel hop.
He said: "We’re jumping over from @BBCOne to @BBCTwo now, where we’ll be with you until 9am…. to make way for the Women’s World Cup.Jon Kay who normally co-stars with Sally Nugent from Monday to Wednesday is also currently off-air as he enjoys a holiday with his family.The BBC's Matt Taylor has been standing in for the beloved host.Get the latest celebrity gossip and telly news sent straight to your inbox.
