BBC announces new X Factor-style talent show to find UK's next acting superstar
-style talent show has been commissioned for the broadcaster, hoping to find the nation's next top actor., the BBC2 show will see aspiring actors take part in a six-part-series, which promises industry representation and a role in a BBC drama for the strongest candidate.
"British TV actors are among the best in the world, but there’s still plenty of undiscovered talent waiting for their big break," said Clare Mottershead, BBC Commissioning Editor, Factual & Events.
