But Ndidi could provide a cheaper alternative for Thomas Tuchel’s side if a deal for Palhinha cannot be struck before Friday’s deadline.
The Bundesliga champions have the financial might to blow interest from Nottingham Forest out of the water.He has, however, continued to play for the Foxes in the second tier and has featured in each of their five games so far this season.The 51-cap Nigeria international is in the final year of his contract at the King Power Stadium.
He signed for Leicester in 2017 and has gone on to make 242 appearances for the club, notching 12 goals and 12 assists.It is believed both Bayern and Forest value the 26-year-old’s versatility, with the Lagos-born ace capable of playing in holding midfield and as a centre-back.
