Fire is still listed as out of control

The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture said in a Twitter post late Tuesday afternoon that the plan was to reopen the road between 7:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27. Even with the road being open, Oke said the fire, which is burning on both sides of the highway, was still considered to be out of control.
