As supply dwindles, buyers in South Asia and the Mediterranean are also attempting to buy up U.S. chickpeas.
“Part of our whole concept is keeping it affordable,” he said. “We want to be accessible to most people, … I raised my prices more than I wanted to this round and I probably didn't raise them as much as I should.”
