YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK — A Bay Area native has gone missing at Yosemite National Park, and authorities are asking hikers to be on the lookout for him.
Park officials in a social media post Tuesday said Hayden Klemenok was last seen after entering Chilnualna Creek near the Upper Chilnualna Fall trail junction about 2 p.m. Sunday. He was wearing a tan, brimmed hat, white sunglasses, a red T-shirt, blue swimming trunks and white Adidas tennis shoes, according to park officials.
A social media page dedicated to Klemenok’s work said he is a Bay Area native and that he played baseball for three seasons at Santa Rosa Junior College. Park officials urged anyone who may have seen Klemenok or been in these areas off trail to contact them at [email protected] or 209-379-1992.
