Vallejo superstar H.E.R.’s Lights On Festival won’t be happening at Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain view due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
Bay Area music fans will have to wait a bit longer to groove with H.E.R.
The Grammy-and-Oscar-winning superstar’s multiday music festival, originally set for Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View Sept. 16-17, has been canceled. “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lights On Festival will not take place this year,” a festival representative said in a statement. Also, there is no mention of the cancelation on H.E.R.’s X page. Nothing appears to be mentioned on the star’s website either.
H.E.R. — who hails from Vallejo — was set to headline a bill that also included Jazmine Sullivan, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Don Toliver, Alina Baraz, Smino, Syd and more. This was going to be the first time the Lights On was going to be held at Shoreline. It was previously held at Toyota Pavilion at Concord.
