MINNEAPOLIS – All those close games in the first part of the season paid off Saturday.
The Boilermakers were battled-tested coming into this matchup against No. 21 Minnesota and made the plays in the fourth quarter to seal a 20-10 victory at Huntington Bank Stadium. It's Purdue's first win in Minneapolis since 2007.Quarterback Aidan O’Connell was cleared medically to play and returned to the starting lineup. O’Connell missed last week’s win against Florida Atlantic. Cornerback Reese Taylor was also in the starting lineup after missing the game against the Owls.
