SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT In a preview for Justice Society of America #5 by Geoff Johns, Mikel Janin, and Jerry Ordway, Batman is confronted by Helena Wayne, aka the Huntress, Batman's daughter from the future. It's the first time Helena's seen her father since he was murdered, and she's determined to save his life. Huntress tells Batman everything she knows about the future, including how he's going to be killed by a man named Bill Jensen.
Batman's Daughter Saved His Life There have been multiple versions of the Huntress, but the original one was Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle's daughter on Earth-2. The character recently reappeared in "The New Golden Age" event hailing from a possible future. After the death of her father, Huntress joined the Justice Society and expanded its roster after its more notable members retired. However, Per Degaton attacked the Society and nearly killed Helena.
While Batman's life may have just been saved, Huntress' actions could have dire consequences for the DC Universe. The timeline is very sensitive to change and doesn't often respond well to alterations. The Flash learned that the hard way when he went back in time to save his mother and accidentally created the Flashpoint timeline.
Batman Dying is Crucial to DC's Timeline As much as fans love him, Batman is going to die someday, even if it's at the hands of the most unexpected villain. But Bruce Wayne is one of the DC Universe's most central figures. No matter how he dies, it's no doubt going to have a prominent place in the timeline. Messing with that almost certainly going to have some wide-ranging effects on the future.
