In order to learn what he needed to fight crime effectively, Bruce began traveling the world, learning from all sorts of masters and experts. This is how Batman became the crime-fighting machine that he is today.
One thing that Batman and Santa Claus have in common is the ability to get into any building, no matter what. Santa travels around the world, giving presents to all the world's children. It doesn't matter if they're in a high-security mansion or the most dangerous part of town, Santa slips in and out, leaving gifts all the same. Batman does much the same; when Batman needs to infiltrate a home or a secret lair, he's always been able to do so without detection.
Batman Learned from the Best One of Batman's greatest strengths is his ability to learn. This is why Batman is famous for his contingency plans: he watches his friends and enemies, learns their weaknesses, and plans accordingly. Batman's ability to adapt and learn is why he's one of the greatest heroes to ever exist, and this is shown perfectly when someone as dark and grim as Batman can learn his most iconic skill from none other than Santa Claus.
