The Islanders completed the regular season with an 8-3 road loss to Moncton on Sept. 2 to finish fifth in the five-team league at 12-20 . The Royals were one game ahead of the Islanders at 13-19.won a bronze medal at the 2022 Baseball Canada national senior men’s championshipThe Islanders entered the 2021 post-season coming off an abbreviated 4-12 season due to COVID-19 but proceeded to defeat the Saint John Alpines in a seven-game semifinal and Moncton 4-1 in the final.
