BART has temporarily suspended service on the Red Line between Millbrae and San Bruno due to a wayside fire.
The agency first reported the fire at approximately 10:30 a.m. Monday morning. At around 11 a.m., BART announced that it was closing the Millbrae Station. Millbrae riders are advised to take the SamTrans ECR bus, which connects to San Bruno, Colma and Daly City. They can also SamTrans bus 292 to SFO. Shortly before noon, BART shared that some of its staff, as well as the BART Police Department and the San Mateo Fire Department were at the scene of the fire.
