as the merciless villain that kills Nemo’s mother. Widely distributed around the world, these ferocious fish are commonly found inwith warm water and plenty of food. They prefer shallower, coastal waters of less than 330 feet deep—typically close to coral reefs, shorelines, and continental shelves.
There are more than 20 species, but the most renowned is the great barracuda.
