A Barclays customer has been left struggling to access their funds after two of their bank cards were allegedly targeted by fraudsters. The concerned customer reached out to the bank for immediate assistance, stating: "I had to cancel my card on Tuesday due to fraudulent activity. I've been sent a replacement but currently waiting on delivery.
"What do I do as I need to pay for travel to and from work today? I can't withdraw cash as I have no card and I can't use the digital form." Barclays responded by inviting the customer to send a direct message to assist with their query. The site further advises: "If you still think the payment is fraudulent, or you've been scammed and have lost money, please report it to us as soon as possible so we can look into it for you. There are different numbers to call depending on whether you're reporting fraud or a scam, and where you are."
