Former US president Barack Obama has arrived at Downing Street for an undisclosed private meeting.

The former commander in chief was spotted waving to reporters before disappearing inside of No 10.
A No 10 source told the Telegraph the two will have an ‘informal meeting’, marking the first time the two men have met. But the former US president has already left Downing Street within half an hour of his arrival, making the meeting a fleeting visit. Obama served two terms in the White House, from 2009 to 2017, before he was replaced by Trump. He was last in Downing Street in 2016, when he visited then Prime Minister David Cameron for talks ahead of a Brexit vote.
