Banyana Banyana battled back to secure a 1-1 draw against Democratic Republic of Congo in their 2024 CAF Women’s Olympic qualifier first-leg on Wednesday.
Swart continued to be the busier of the keepers and smothered yet another promising effort this time by Ruth Kipoyi ahead of the closing quarter of the first half. It’s a change that turned out perfectly as the visiting team levelled when Michael played in a low ball for Kgatlana to tap in from close-range.
