Updated:A Baldwin County man was killed Monday morning when the SUV he was driving collided with a disabled tractor-trailer on I-65, authorities said.
Chase J. Sharp, 34, of Bay Minette, was driving a 2015 Ford Explorer when the SUV struck the rear of a 2000 Kenworth tractor-trailer around 6:02 a.m. Monday near the 29-mile marker of I-65, about five miles south of Bay Minette, said Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Senior Trooper Anna Peoples.The tractor-trailer was disabled and partially in the roadway at the time of the wreck, Peoples said.Further information was unavailable as state troopers continued to investigate the wreck.
