STOCKHOLM - Nato Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg warned on Wednesday that the eastern Ukrainian city of Bakhmut may fall into Russian hands in the coming days.

“We can not rule out that Bakhmut may eventually fall in the coming days,” Mr Stoltenberg told reporters in Stockholm on the sidelines of a meeting of EU defence ministers.In recent weeks, Russia has sent thousands of troops in human wave attacks to try to capture Bakhmut.
