The british stars of film and television come together tonight to celebrate the 2024 award season at The BAFTAS
The BAFTA Film Awards return this evening at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, where this year’s nominees are lining the red carpet.This year’s awards ceremony is hosted by David Tennant .record 2023 haul of 14 noms. Trailing Nolan is Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, who clocked 11 nominations with his latest black comedy,, which clocked nine nominations. The 3-hour plus pic pops up in best film, supporting actor for Robert DeNiro, and cinematography for Rodrigo Prieto.
The awards themselves will be handed out beginning at 5pm local time on Sunday at Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall. The ceremony will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer from 7pm local, a two-hour delay from the start of the live proceedings. Contrary to last year, the final four categories will not be broadcast in real time.
