Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has announced a 44-man preliminary squad for the two upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
There are several returnees to the Bafana Bafana squad, including S’fiso Hlanti of Kaizer Chiefs and Melusi Buthelezi of Orlando Pirates.
Broos also included a few surprise picks, and they are Bradley Cross of Golden Arrows, Polokwane City’s Oswin Appollis and Jayden Adam’s of Stellies.Tshepang Moremi of AmaZulu, Sekhukhune United’s attacker Elias Mokwana have also earned recognition while Thapelo Maseko has been overlooked altogether.Bafana Bafana will take on Benin at home on 20 November, and kick-off for that encounter is scheduled for 15:00.
