On Aug. 23, Mayah was honored as the August Hero of the Month at the Houston Astros baseball game and threw out the first pitch. That day, she met Correa, and found out that CFF is funding the abode,“We have secured the funding to build Mayah and her family a new home in a location where she feels safe and comfortable,” the Correa Family Foundation
