A new report from the Daily Mail suggests that the Netflix action movie Back in Action starring Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx has issues.
Netflix’s planned film was set to see legendary actress Cameron Diaz come out of retirement to star in the movie alongside her friend, Foxx. However, according to the report, there was some “drama” behind the scenes of the project even before Foxx was forced to take a break from the film following undisclosed health issues.
According to the report, issues between Diaz and Foxx popped up during the filming of the project, with the pair reportedly getting into “heated arguments” while on set.
“Cameron has not signed on for another film and is not currently taking any new scripts,” an insider said to the Daily Mail. “Honestly, she is not sure what is going on with Back In Action and isn’t very proud of it, considering there was so much drama even before Jamie was hospitalized.” As for Jamie Foxx, the report also mentions that earlier this year, the actor had “an absolute meltdown” while on set, leading to many people being fired from the project. Following his health issues, however, the film’s status has been at a standstill due to the uncertainty of Foxx’s condition.
