Windey spoke out about the pair’s breakup on “Dancing with the Stars” the day prior, saying the two simply “weren’t each other’s best match.”

“We met in a very unique situation and in a very unique way and I’m grateful we did. I would never take it back,” he said, adding that Windey is “an amazing person” and that he will “always root for her.”his numerous controversies over the past couple of months and shared that he has “learned and grown so much this year from experiences and mistakes” as he continues “to better myself every day.”
“I am hoping to take this time with my familt and loved ones and focus on myself,” he noted before teasing fans about future projects that he’s “been working hard” on.The 29-year-old says there wasn't"one thing" that lead to the pair's split.
