Unless you have a reservation, you can expect a long wait to get on a B.C. Ferry sailing to Vancouver Island today.
B.C. Ferries says there is currently three-ferry wait for sailings between Tsawwassen and Swartz Bay , and a two-ferry wait for sailings between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay . Traffic is a little lighter on the Tsawwassen-Duke Point sailing, which currently has a one-sailing wait this morning. B.C. Ferries added 70 extra sailings for Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay route and 11 more between Horseshoe Bay and Departure Bay for the Easter long weekend.Travellers are advised to check current conditions on the B.C. Ferry Services website before heading out to the terminal.
