San Diego State reduces ticket prices more than 50 percent for Saturday's game against UNLV, as well as upcoming games against San Jose State, Air Force

has dramatically reduced ticket prices for the season’s last three football games at Snapdragon Stadium.

“As we’ve had these conversations the last couple of weeks,” said Tom Greene, SDSU vice president for premium and ticket sales, “our goal and our North Star is, ultimately, to get as many fans in the stadium as possible, create the best experience for our student-athletes and expose as many new people to a new stadium that could be future long-term customers. ...

The season opener against Arizona was announced as a sellout with attendance of 34,046 for the 32,500-seat venue .According to numbers provided Thursday by SDSU, the turnstile attendance for the Snapdragon debut against the Wildcats was 26,816. Rancho Bernardo’s Brian Butler is a longtime season ticket holder who purchased seats in Section 120, located in Snapdragon’s southwest corner.

For this year’s seven-game home schedule, general season ticket prices ranged from $250 to $1,500, plus a one-time “stadium excellence gift” ranging from $100 to $1,500.
