The book sees a band of young adventurers enter a world of mystical beings, ancient forests, and a quest to save the planet.
An author has penned an adventurous fantasy book in the hope of opening up the dialogue of climate change and encouraging children to help “save our planet”.
Written in the style of Enid Blyton’s Secret Seven meets Alice in Wonderland, Colin’s book seamlessly weaves the magic of fantasy with the pressing need for environmental conservation. The Guardians & The Betrayal of the Forest Queens, whose cover was created by Ayrshire artist Tina Sloan, tells the story of Oliver, age 14, and his little sister Lucy who accompany their parents to Scotland where they are attending a Global Climate Conference.
Join Oliver, Lucy, and their friends as they face an evil tyrant intent on using powerful spells to speed up global warming and transform the entire planet. Will they succeed in saving the forest and its inhabitants before it’s too late?
