THUNDER BAY – No development or accomplishment is too small when it comes to housing in First Nation communities, and it’s important to recognize these advancements taking place across the country.
“These awards were designed for communities to share achievements that they hold close to home,” said Clarence Meekis, member of the First Nations Housing Conference Working Group. “There is no accomplishment too small or too big, what matters is the pride shared together within the community and its members.”
The awards will be presented at the First Nations Housing conference taking place in Thunder Bay from Oct. 25 to 27.
