Princess Beatrice 's ex-boyfriend Paolo Liuzzo was found dead in a Miami hotel room following a suspected drug overdose . The 42-year-old was discovered at the citizenM Worldcenter Hotel, a four-star hotel in downtown Miami, shortly after 3PM on February 7, the Miami Police Department told The Sun. The cause of death has not officially been reported, but Officer Michael Vega said they were investigating an overdose death; "The investigation is open and ongoing", he said.

Why Beatrice didn't fling him away with his already-apparent red flags at the time is beyond anyone's understanding, but one might deduce that it had something to do with having a profoundly problematic father. The dude, who hails from Woodbury in New York, was considered an American socialite at the time of his romance with Beatrice. When reports of this manslaughter incident eventually surfaced in 2006, Beatrice ended things, but her father wished she hadn't.
