The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office on Tuesday identified the victim as Ladarius Cortez Jones. He was 31 and lived in Fairfield.
Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies were called at 11:53 p.m. Saturday to a report of a person down, said Deputy Chief David Agee.63-year-old identified as woman fatally shot during argument in southwest BirminghamDeputies arrived to find onlookers trying to help Jones. They told authorities they saw a vehicle quickly leaving the area and then found the victim wounded.Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 205-325-1450.
