Body-worn camera footage from September 2023 released on Friday shows authorities' first entry into Jodi Hildebrandt 's southern Utah home after one of Ruby Franke's children showed up at one of her neighbor's houses emaciated, abused, and looking for food and water. The previously unseen footage was part of a massive collection of evidence published by the Washington County Attorney's Office .
The video shows a posse of Santa Clara-Ivins police pile into a pickup truck down the road from Hildebrandt's multi-million-dollar estate. Upon arrival, police pound on the former YouTuber's door, announcing themselves, and waiting for several minutes before Hildebrandt finally arrives at the entryway - cell phone in hand."That's great, step out of the house," says one of the officers before they physically pull her out of the doorway.Footage shows EMTs coaxing abused Franke child out of closet She asks police if they have a search warrant. The officer whose body camera footage was included in the public evidence tells her to take a seat, stay out of the home and that he would "explain everything after."
