Shares in Australia jumped in early trade as stocks on Wall Street sailed to new all-time highs overnight stateside amid positive sentiment on U.S.-China trade and economic data from China.

Market sentiment has gotten a boost in recent days amid anticipation of a phase one trade deal being inked between Washington and Beijing. U.S. President
