Skies turned bright red on the beach in southeast Australia on Sunday as deadly bushfires continue to burn. Rain has brought some measure of relief, but officials warn the showers won't put out all the fires before conditions deteriorate again this week.

Massive evacuation underway due to fires in Australia

His announcement came as authorities said two more people were missing in remote parts of New South Wales. More than 135 fires were still burning across the state, including almost 70 that were not contained. The Rural Fire Service is warning the rain won't put out the largest and most dangerous blazes before conditions deteriorate again this week.

Morrison announced on Saturday he would dispatch 3,000 army, navy and air force reservists to help battle the fires. He also committed 20 million Australian dollars to lease firefighting aircraft from overseas.
