Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly opened talks with a major European club as he looks to leave Chelsea despite joining them a little more than a month ago. Soon after the Gabonese striker joined the Blues in September, reports suggested that Thomas Tuchel, who has always been quick to reveal his admiration for the forward, played a big role in convincing the goal-getter to make the switch to London from FC Barcelona. However, their reunion lasted just one match as the head coach was given his marching orders following a mixed start to the 2022/23 season.
Following Tuchel's departure, Aubameyang admitted he was"sad" to part ways with the manager he also worked with at Borussia Dortmund. According to, the 33-year-old's camp has already begun talks with Paris Saint-Germain ahead of a potential move at the end of this season. If the striker were to join PSG, he would link up with Christophe Galtier again following their time together at Saint-Etienne. The frontman initially got his Chelsea stint off to a slow start, but has enjoyed an upturn in form of late, scoring consecutively against Crystal Palace and AC Milan over the past couple of weeks.
