Unsplash photo.DEBERT, N.S. — The Centre for Local Prosperity is partnering with nine Atlantic Canadian food organizations for a two-day Atlantic Canadian food summit in Debert.
The forum is for stakeholders to discuss how potential threats to the regional food supply can manifest themselves in Atlantic Canada and where transformation is needed. Speakers and panelists from the First Nations and the Atlantic provinces will discuss specific bottlenecks in the food systems, offer insights, success stories in the region and show the path toward greater food sovereignty.
