ARLINGTON — Astros shortstop Jeremy Peña was out of the lineup for a third consecutive game Sunday due toPeña said he “slept weird” before the Astros’ final game in St. Louis, played in that game and received treatment afterward. He said his neck then “kind of locked up on me” before the opener of this Texas series on Friday.
“I don’t think it’s anything serious,” Peña said. “I should be back anytime. But we’re just going day-to-day.” Peña is getting treatment but not doing baseball activities, manager Dusty Baker said Sunday morning.
