A child has been injured following an incident at Cafe Roux in Noordhoek, Cape Town. The driver of a recent model Aston Martin claims to have had some trouble with his gear selector, and launched the vehicle into the play area and sandpit at the popular eatery. Not a good look.
Local businessman and all round good guy, Dean Delaney, witnessed the incident just after lunch this Sunday, 18 February, 2024: The owner tried to reverse his car and I suggested he doesn’t drive the vehicle, as a child had been injured. He sat in the car for about 5 minutes and the cops arrived. He had a problem with the gear selector and first reversed from the parking spot, then revved, changed into drive and launched through the fence.
