If you look closely, you can see the phone has no service, yet the user is trying to open an app despite that. Who wouldn't be lost in the digital world?
I remember when I was in high school and smart devices started becoming a thing. My friend’s parents had a refrigerator that had a touchscreen on the front where you could browse Twitter. Now that the pandemic is over, it doesn’t even make logical sense for them to do this. It’s so much easier to cheat on your taxes and/or launder money when you’re not creating a digital paper trail.
“Oops, sorry about that,” you’ll say as you hike up your belt, adjust your glasses and charge this next order of jalapeno poppers to yet another table.
