She was found by officers travelling east of the city on Highway 564 and followed by the Calgary police’s HAWCS helicopter. HAWCS caught the woman’s vehicle driving at a high speed and crossing over into oncoming traffic.Calgary police asked RCMP in the area for help and Airdrie Mounties responded. “Because of the danger posed by the vehicle, the RCMP decided to deploy a spike belt,” ASIRT explained in a news release.Article content
