Asiana plane lands safely after door opens during flight: Spokesman
SEOUL - An Asiana Airlines plane landed safely in the South Korean city of Daegu on Friday after a door of the aircraft opened shortly before reaching the airport, a company spokesman said.
There were 194 passengers on the plane, according to Yonhap News. None were hurt, but some passengers reportedly had breathing difficulty and were taken to the hospital after landing at Daegu International Airport. “After departing from Jeju Island, the plane was on its way to Daegu, 237km southeast of Seoul, when a door suddenly opened at 12:45 pm,” reported the Korean news agency, quoting airline officials.
