A jury has heard from residents living close to the scene where the 28-year-old was killed
Neighbours living close to Ashley Dale described hearing a woman "screaming in fear" and a "soft voice saying help me" at the time she was shot, a jury heard.
The prosecution case is that Witham and a second man, Joseph Peers, 29, were "dispatched" to kill Harrison by three men - Niall Barry, 26; Sean Zeisz, 28; and Ian Fitzgibbon, 28 - who were allegedly directing the hit from a flat in Pilch Lane, Huyton. The woman said she "did not think anything of it" at first, but then she heard a scream. Mr Greaney asked: "The screaming. Were you able to gain any impression of whether it was a man or a woman screaming?".
The jury also heard from another neighbour who cannot be named, Neighbour A, who said she heard what sounded like a "drilling noise" before hearing two screams. The second "really loud" scream, she said, included the words: "Get the f*** out". At 12.30am, CCTV shows the Hyundai turning into Leinster Road. Witham accepts being in the vehicle, but the prosecution contend Peers was also inside.
The prosecution has claimed a fight or assault at Glastonbury festival in late June last year triggered animosity between Zeisz and Harrison's friend Jordan Thompson, which "reignited" the feud between Barry and Harrison.
