The store was forced to temporarily close earlier today

A Nottingham supermarket has reopened its doors after a technical problem meant the store had to temporarily close. On Monday, March 27 the Asda supermarket in Strelley had to close after a system error meant that customers could not be served.

, and the store was closed for an hour before being able to reopen shortly after 6pm. During the closure many customers were waiting outside of the supermarket until it could operate as normal. Asda has since issued a comment about the situation to reassure its customers that the problem has been solved. An Asda Spokesperson said: “We temporarily closed our Strelley store earlier on today after a tech issue meant we couldn’t serve customers.
