The full list of 10 is below. The One Free Press Coalition is made up of more than 30 leading global media organizations, including Forbes, Reuters, TIME, the, the Associated Press, HuffPost and many others, who chose and promote the list leaning on the expertise of the Committee to Protect Journalists and the International Women’s Media Foundation.
Standing with those who otherwise might be alone, using the collective audience of more than 1 billion people, makes a difference. Last month, the Myanmar government released Pulitzer Prize-winning journalists Wa Long and Kyaw Soe Oo from jail, where they’d been held on dubious “anti-state” charges. We are proud to say they’re no longer on the 10 Most Urgent list.
